The idea behind it is straightforward: bring together in one place the things you want to know about a match, instead of leaving you to hunt down statistics spread across different sources.

We work through the day's fixtures match by match. We look at how many goals each side is expected to score (xG), at corner and shot statistics, at the most likely scorelines, and at how the market odds are moving. That picture is then written up as a short, readable analysis. Once a match kicks off, you can follow the score and the flow of play on the live tracking screen. Every analysis is prepared by our team, and new ones go up each day.

It is worth being just as clear about what we do not do, since it is usually the first thing people ask. WinBall is not a betting site and not a bookmaker. We do not accept bets, no money is deposited or withdrawn through the app, no coupons are placed, and we do not link to sites that take bets. What we do is study matches and share what we find. Everything we publish is for information only, and it is for each reader to decide what to make of it. The app is intended for users aged 18 and over.
